Gallows. Lipa (German: Leipe), poviat: Jawor.
- Gallows located on a small hill 1000 m south-east of the town, approximately 100 m north of the road leading from Lipa to Jastrowiec.
- Description: the object was made in the form of a cylindrical well with an internal diameter of approximately 350 cm and a height of approximately 300 cm, with three stone pillars, only two of which have survived to this day. The whole structure was made of rough-hewn stone, with the entrance from the west. In the past, each of the three pillars could have additional sockets for execution beams, which made it possible to install additional beams (six in total, two on each pillar). The object most likely also had an execution platform (wooden) leading outside the building. An interesting fact is thatthe local community, at the beginning of the 20th century, considered that the object was the ruins of a pagan temple.
- Comments: currently the gallows in Lipa is in a terrible condition and requires immediate renovation, or at least basicrepairs.
