Execution site. Ostroszowice (German: Weigelsdorf), Dzierżoniów district.
- The former execution site was located among the fields to the east of the town, on the old road to Dzierżoniów and Niemcza, today connecting Ostroszowice with Owiesne.
- Description: Gallows Hill was marked on a handwritten military map by Ludwig Wilhelm von Regler from 1764–1770 as Galgenhübel (Gallows Hill).
- Notes: the center of Ostroszowice is clearly visible from the place where the gallows used to stand. Based on documents from the Prague Appeal Chamber, we know that a sodomite was tried before this court in 1699. He was sentenced to beheading with a sword and after that his body was burned at the stake.
